Yashariel: The Forgotten Ember is an isometric dark-fantasy ARPG with MMO elements, combining fast combat, deep character progression, multiplayer systems and a fractured world shaped by ancient fire.
Yashariel: The Forgotten Ember is an independent dark-fantasy ARPG for PC. Set across the continent of Arandresia, the game combines fast, skill-driven combat with class-based progression, extensive talent trees, equipment progression, multiplayer groups, world bosses and long-term endgame systems. Players can explore and progress alone or alongside others without multiplayer being forced into every part of the experience. Yashariel follows a Buy once – own forever philosophy and is being developed with long-term community involvement in mind.
The world of Yashariel: The Forgotten Ember is scarred by ancient fire, forgotten powers and regions that have changed in ways their inhabitants no longer fully understand.
At the center of the project is an isometric action-RPG combat system designed around direct character control, distinct class identities and meaningful build choices.
Characters progress from Level 1 to Level 60, unlocking talent points and developing through talent trees built around three main paths. Players can specialize heavily in one direction or combine connected parts of different paths before ultimately choosing one of their available Ultimate talents.
Equipment progression is designed to remain visually readable. Higher item qualities become increasingly elaborate, while stronger equipment can introduce more pronounced materials, effects, gemstones and auras.
Yashariel also includes online systems normally associated with larger shared-world games. Players can form groups of up to four, encounter large world bosses designed for up to 20 players, trade through a server-wide Auction House and participate in account-wide progression systems.
The game is intended to remain playable for the long term. During normal operation, Yashariel uses its official online infrastructure. If the official servers are ever permanently and finally shut down, the project is intended to provide a way for owners to continue playing offline.
Project pillars
Direct isometric character control with class identities designed to feel different in play, not only on a stat sheet.
The standard level journey leads into long-term progression systems rather than ending character growth at the level cap.
Talent trees are built around three main paths, connected choices and a final Ultimate commitment.
Item quality becomes increasingly elaborate through materials, details, effects, gemstones and higher-tier visual presentation.
Players can progress alone or form groups of up to four without multiplayer being forced into every part of the game.
Shared encounters include world bosses designed for groups of up to 20 players.
A server-wide Auction House, trading and account-wide progression bring MMO-inspired systems into the ARPG structure.
The project is built around a one-time purchase philosophy and a long-term plan for continued ownership.
Classes & Races
Seven classes are planned for Yashariel, with four playable races planned for each class. The initial public class presentation focuses on Plague Lord, Mirror Mage, Starforger and Dreamwalker.
